The true & unaxeggerated story on fence [18 November 2003 - srhadden]

In 1998 fence stunned themselves by ending 2nd in HUMO's rock rally, Belgium's most shmestizious battle of rockbands. On their way down from the stage an eager labelbeaver bookingbitch cast his greedy paws around the flippy foursome. And so it came to be that there was a recordlabel slash bookingagent and he go-eth by the name of labelman slash toutpartout resp.

Fence concentrated on playing their instruments, in front of hypersensitive recording apparatuses to be more exact. Behind the knops was the Frans to the H to the A to the Geneers, also known for producing other influential rockflocks, such as : Motoröl, Ruftkaizer & the stupendous Sloefsigaretski ... ( the list goes on btw)
A debut ep and lp and a couple of singles with ridiculously okidoki B-sides exited Frans' factory. Fence played sellout shows in sports arenas around the globe.

Fuelled by this fuelling reception, and with the help of Patrick Delabie, fence started recording a second album. Surprisingly, the result of this effort was a second album.
But then came the moment of crisis. Disaster struck as leadsinger Kneals opened up his fridgidaire and saw a carton of milk talking to a rotten tomato. Leadsinger Love experienced a similar drama in the same week when his girlfriend since highschool expressed the fact she loved him very, very much. To make matters worse, leadsinger Bob suffered from a bit of a professional career. All this drove drummer Samuel to insanity, as he left the band. He got replaced by a cheap and clean little S.R. Hadden.

The 2nd album swept a stormcloud throughout the galaxy. On earth in particular people forgot all about movies like Titanic and Bulgur With Rice, as fence managed to suck in ALL attention from any person alive for 54 consecutive weeks. Anyway, blabrrrabblebla and so on, Fence is ready for roadkill & a third fence album is already available on Kazaa.
